One Week into my new routine

I am one week into my new routine and I am feeling great!  As much as I was enjoying Insanity and hated to give it up, I truly feel like I made the best decision for my body at this point in time.  I will get back to Insanity someday, but for now I am happy to be working out and feeling strong!

My new routine has started!

It has been a lot of fun to mix it up with different workouts from various Beachbody programs.  I officially started my new schedule last Wednesday (who says we have to wait until Monday to start?!) and my first three days were 21 Day Fix, Body Beast and Cize.  I can say that my abs were feeling awesome after the first couple days - it was the best kind of sore!

 I have chosen to fill my schedule with workouts that are generally between 30 and 45 minutes; every once in a while there is a 50 minute workout or 25 minute thrown in, but most of them are somewhere in the middle.  This will mean that I won't be dreading a longer workout on a busy day with Bonnie.  Just being honest about works for me will help me stick to my goals!  I have a schedule made up through the rest of October and the entire month of November.  Once I have hit that point I will re-evaluate, see what successes I've had and make a plan of action for going forward.

Overall, it feels good to be back in a routine and I'm ready to hit those health and fitness goals that have proved elusive since Bonnie Ann was born.  I will get there - and I will continue to document that process on this blog!
