Focus T25 Beta Cycle Week Three

Today I am SO beyond excited for a bunch of reasons!  These include:

1) We finally have a week's weather forecast that doesn't have any days with below freezing temperatures.  In Minnesota we call this a WIN!

2) Over the past couple weeks Jake and I have complete several projects that have been lingering on the to-do list.  After hanging a light fixture my dad made for us, recovering our dining room chairs, organizing my clothes and shortening the curtains in the living room I feel like I'm living in a brand-new house!  All of these were cheap and easy fixes but they have seriously made a huge difference for me.

3) Today marks the beginning of my fourth week in Focus T25 Beta Cycle.  I have successfully completed 8 weeks of Focus T25 and I absolutely love it.  I had been switching between programs for a while trying to find one that really fit with my schedule, and this is it!

Finding 25 minutes a day for my workouts has been simple and I honestly look forward to them every day.  I am stronger than I've ever been and I love that I can see definition forming in my arms.  I've spent too many years covering my arms up because I didn't like the 'chicken cutlets' (as I called them) that seemed to live under my arm.  This summer my arms will see the sun!!

T25 Beta Schedule Week 3

I have never really worked out with weights before, but now that I have used them for a couple weeks with several Beta cycle workouts I am absolutely in love!  The days when we use the weights are easily my favorite days.  I'll be honest and say that I get a bit disappointed when I pop a disc in and it says "equipment needed: nada" - I want to use those weights!

This makes me even more excited to get started with another Beachbody program I have, Body Beast.  I ordered this a couple weeks ago and planned on starting with it after I went through T25.  I think I have changed my tune a bit, however.  My goals are to lose another 10-20 pounds and then focus on toning up after what will then be 70 pounds of weight loss!  I think T25 will be able to help me with the weight loss while Body Beast will be great for the toning.

  After really analyzing my results and my goals for the next couple months, I actually think I am going to re-do T25 after I finish the next two weeks.  So I will switch back to Alpha, go through Beta again and then do the Gamma round.  After that, and with 14 weeks of really focusing in on my nutrition and meal planning I think I will be in a perfect place physically to jump into Body Beast.  For now I'm just not ready to be done with T25!

Woman's T25 Weight Loss

This past week I hit 193.8 pounds, which is the lowest I can remember being since high school (I graduated in 2005 so this is a LONG time ago!)  When I saw that number pop up on the scale I couldn't help but do a mini happy dance right then and there!  

I am taking my weight loss one pound at a time, one day at a time.  This past year has been the most incredible journey and I am so excited to see where the next year takes me!  To think that I am less than 4 pounds away from being in the 180s in mind-blowing.
