Discussing Porn with the Parents

...yeah, the story behind this post was awkward to experience.

And, surprisingly enough, it does relate to Christmas.

Hubby & I on Christmas Eve- this was after the Grappa shots, so I'll use that as my excuse for how I look :)

Hubby, for a Christmas present, gave me a Roku.  I wasn't really sure what it was before I opened it, but it's a device that you connect to your tv & wifi and it then allows you to stream Netflix, Pandora, things like that.  Well, I had a bunch to bake and cook for various Christmas parties, so he set it up and started watching a documentary called "After Porn Ends"- it's about what people in the porn industry do when they get out of the industry.

Yes, I'm baking and he's watching a porn documentary.  Welcome to our life, folks.

Well, my parents and I use the same Netflix account- and they happen to be going on Netflix at the same time.  Can you guess what they saw?  After Porn Ends in the recently watched.  Only because of how the cover of it is formatted, what they saw was:

After
Porn
Ends
Can you see how this got awkward?  Hubby sees that some random movie has shown up in our "recently watched" list and asks me what it is- I tell him my parents probably watched something.  His response? "Your parents use this?!  So now they think I'm spending Sunday night watching PORN?!"
Yep, awkward.
Flash forward to when I see my parents on Christmas Eve, and they ask how our Netflix is treating us.
Yeah... didn't have a better picture of mom.  Sorry!
I just kind of blubber and don't know what to say, mom turns red, and dad gets out the liquor.
Happy day.

I actually saw that documentary and briefly considered watching it, though fortunately for me no one shares my Netflix, hehe.
